Document and Variable Cross Reference

The Client Letter Document and Variable Cross Reference utility is a powerful administrative reporting tool that allows your business to evaluate its documents and data structures by department or globally. For example, it enables administrators to evaluate how a change to a document that is copied or included into other documents affects the entire document library. Reports can be used to increase efficiency and organization within your Client Letter system.
The Utility creates the following reports:
  • Document Hierarchy - a report showing how documents and variables are referenced in the hierarchy of copied and included documents and formula variables.
  • Document Cross Reference – a report by document name, showing in which documents and variables the document is referenced.
  • Variable Cross Reference – a report by variable name showing in which documents and variables the variable is referenced.
  • Document SLP Tree Reference – a report showing where library items (Letters, Templates and Paragraphs) reference documents.
