Carbon Copy Documents for Business Process Management

The Client Letter Carbon Copy feature ensures that the appropriate parties are notified and copied on the communication. This significantly reduces processing costs by automating the required document workflow. The Carbon Copy feature can handle unlimited cc: and bcc: recipients in a business process.

The Carbon Copy feature automatically creates an exact copy of a generated document to a third party recipient. A customized Cover Letter to the cc: recipient may accompany a copy of the original document. Client Letter dynamically inserts the cc: recipient names into a "cc:" list at the appropriate positioning at the bottom of the original document, except when the recipient is a "blind cc:" recipient. The Cover Letter can contain different text, variables and business rules including the recipient's preferred method of delivery.

In addition, the cc: feature supports the creation of manual carbon copies to recipients not in the customer database. All Carbon Copies associated with a document may be viewed in Document History, including the recipient's name, address and text of the Cover Letters.
