Responsibilities:

As a Top Down Systems programmer your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Participate in design discussions
  • Help plan future product direction
  • Develop in multiple environments
  • Develop in multiple programming languages
  • Research and code image formats – particularly Adobe PDF
  • Provide support to sales
  • Provide second level support to customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Calm demeanor in pressure situations and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer service focus and attitude at all times
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Capable of working independently or with the team, as required
  • Ability to take the lead on projects and problem resolution
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with UNIX/LINUX, Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and SQL
  • Extensive knowledge of J2EE systems and programming concepts, including EJB’s and JDBC in a production environment required
  • Knowledge of WebSphere, XML, C++ and MS Office Automation highly desirable
  • Must be focused, dependable and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites by car, train, and airplane
